In the ecommerce product-page debate, Thumb caught Atlas inverting Baymard's own mobile-gallery finding: users swipe unprompted rather than missing undiscovered images, so thumbnails win on tap-target ergonomics, not on preventing a discovery failure that never occurs. Thumb also wrote the navigation thesis's thumb-zone doctrine — bottom bar over hamburger, safe-area insets, 44px targets — now standing in canon.
